What FXSpreadMeter is
FXSpreadMeter is an independent comparison, review, education and tools website for forex and CFD brokers. We are not a broker, dealer, introducing broker with discretionary authority, investment adviser or financial planner. We do not hold client funds, do not open accounts on your behalf and do not place or manage trades.
Nothing on this site is personal financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and nothing is a recommendation to open an account with any broker or to buy or sell any instrument. You are responsible for your own decisions and for checking whether a broker is authorised to serve you in your country.
Research, spreads and figures
We publish broker data — spreads, commissions, account types, regulation, platforms, scores and rankings — based on information brokers publish, information they supply to us, and our own checks. This information changes frequently and can be incomplete or out of date by the time you read it. Spread figures are the broker's published averages or advertised minimums unless a page says otherwise; they are not a promise of the pricing you will receive.
Our rankings and scores reflect our editorial view using our own weighting. Always verify pricing, leverage, fees and terms directly with the broker before funding an account.
How we make money
We earn affiliate commissions when a visitor opens an account through some of our outbound broker links, and we sell advertising placements. Commercial arrangements do not buy a favourable review, a score or a ranking position, and paid placements are shown as advertising. Some brokers we cover have no commercial relationship with us at all.
Your use of the site
You agree not to:
- copy, scrape, republish or resell our content, data or ratings without our written permission;
- interfere with the site, its security, its rate limits or its tracking, or attempt to reach non-public areas;
- submit false, misleading or unlawful information, impersonate anyone, or upload anyone else's data without their permission;
- use the site for anything unlawful, including any form of financial promotion that breaches the rules where you live.
Submissions and user content
If you submit a review, PAMM or strategy listing, comment or performance evidence, you confirm it is accurate, that it is yours to submit, and that it does not guarantee future results. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to publish, edit for length and clarity, and display it. We moderate all submissions and may decline, unpublish or remove content at our discretion. Listings only become public after review; being listed is not verification, endorsement or a performance guarantee.
Third-party content and links
Market data widgets, charts, rate feeds, broker sites and adverts are supplied by third parties. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy or terms.
Availability
We aim to keep the site available but provide it "as is" and "as available", without warranties of accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, lost data or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, your reliance on our research, or your dealings with any broker or advertiser. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Intellectual property
The FXSpreadMeter name, site design, written content, scores and compiled datasets are ours or our licensors'. Broker names and logos belong to their owners and are used for identification only.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version, and continued use means you accept the update. Any dispute is subject to the courts and law of the operator's place of establishment, without affecting consumer rights you have locally.
